| Value of monthly payments grows by 45% |

01.02.2010 January 2010 has proven to be a new record month, with Realex Payments processing in excess of €781m worth of business for its online retailers. This is an increase of 45% on the figures for January 2009 when the Company processed €538m. January is traditionally a busy a month for Realex Payments, with many airline sales, people planning holidays, paying annual bills such as insurance and motor tax and college applications. Online charity donations were also much higher in January as a direct result of the earthquake in Haiti. In the weeks after the tragedy, Realex Payments have processed donations valued in excess of €5million. Realex Payments provides online payment processing services to Irish and international clients. The values processed in January 2010 grew by 19% for Irish businesses – €438m up from €368m for the same month last year. Values processed for the UK market were up 112% and international values up 55%. This reflects Realex Payments internationalisation strategy as it expands its operations overseas.
