Realex Payments were one of the first companies in Europe to achieve compliance to the scheme security standards. The security standards, known as Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (or PCI DSS), were created by Visa and MasterCard, and are a set of industry-wide security requirements and processes.
The standards are supported by all international payment card systems, for companies involved in the processing of card transactions, or providing associated products, services or applications.
In order to promote the standards Visa compiled some promotional material. Included in this is a case study using Realex Payments as the service provider.
For Visa to feature Realex Payments as the only company in a best practice case study is something we are immensely proud of, and it encourages us to continue to strive even harder to maintain and surpass industry security standards.
