Carapay Limited is a fully owned subsidiary of Pay and Shop Limited t/a Payment Realex (www.realexpayments.com). The company was founded by Colm Lyon, CEO of Realex Payments and leading payments entrepreneur. As a regulated business, Carapay has submitted its plans and programme of operations to the financial regulator, who has approved these. Carapay is one of the first businesses in Europe to be regulated under the payment services directive – new legislation that allows innovative businesses like Carapay to enter the payment processing world.
