Security should be part of the DNA of any application which stores or transmits sensitive data but understanding common application security vulnerabilities and more importantly knowing how to prevent them in their your applications is often difficult and expensive. No developer wants their code to be exploited by malicious users leading to negative press and unhappy customers so with this in mind Realex are running a free to participate Capture The Flag game for developers and any other non security professionals.

The game will allow you to learn how to use security tools against vulnerable systems and applications in a hands on workshop where, with guidance from security professionals from Realex Payments, 7 Elements and the CTF creator Mark Hillick from Kybeire Ltd, you can try to hack your way into the Realex Payments/HackEire hall of fame!

This game will be completely hands on, no slides or talks will be given but we will be guiding you through the challenges so you can learn the skills needed to find, fix and exploit security vulnerabilities so you can perform the same testing against your own systems and applications.
