Senior Sales Executive
Primary Accountabilities
Realex Payments continue to experience rapid growth across the organisation and in line with this we are looking to develop our sales capacity in the UK. Based out of Hammersmith, London the sales function is split between direct sales and financial institution (referral) sales staff - this is specifically a direct sales role. Reporting to the UK General Manager, the candidate must be able to demonstrate a clear strategy toward the development of a comprehensive, qualified pipeline. ‘New business’ is the primary focus of this role thus requiring a highly motivated individual who will continue to deliver on agreed targets.
As Realex Payments is growing rapidly and aggressively recruiting across the all areas of the organization (currently 55 people), the successful candidate will be joining at an early stage of growth and will have extensive opportunity to develop within the organization.
Duties and Specific Responsibilities
A background in generating high level corporate solution sales with a proven track record of achieving excellent results is required with the added ability to work within a team environment. The applicant will be able to display a history of successful direct sales into large corporate clients to date. Specifically:
- To have the ability to generate leads at a senior level either through networking or direct channels, to develop that pipeline and to follow through the sales cycle to fruition.
- The ability to understand a prospects current process, to map it out and to apply the Realex solution as required. This skill is an absolutely critical attribute to any successful candidate.
- To demonstrate strong sales planning skills both at a sector level and at individual corporate prospect level.
- The highest level of presentation and documentation skills will be required with the ability to provide examples of these.
- The individual needs to be highly motivated and driven towards achieving/exceeding their targets – this needs to be borne out with sales results to date.
- Excellent tracking and reporting of key performance indicators on a weekly/monthly basis will be required.
- The individual must maintain a consistently high level of industry knowledge at all times.
Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidate will probably have a third level or professional qualification and several years experience in a similar solution sales role. In addition and while not a not a specific requirement, a general knowledge and appreciation of the following would be highly advantageous:
- The payments industry.
- Internet technologies and security issues.
