Primary Accountabilities

Working within the Operations team, the role of integration support analyst involves interfacing with customers during the set-up, integration and use of the Realex Payments service. This is a technical role as it involves working with clients who are integrating their web sites and call centre solutions using a number of available integration options.

Duties and Specific Responsibilities/Experience

A background in technical support in a customer facing environment is required with the added ability to work within a team environment. The applicant will be able to display a history of successfully interfacing with clients.

1. Provide front line email and telephone support for new and existing customers and/or their development partners.

2. Resolve any technical issues for clients who are using or integrating to the service.

3. Proactively engage with clients in order to gain feedback on the Realex Payments service.

4. Explain the integration process to clients and advise on best approach.

5. Set up all merchant details and accounts on system using internal systems.

6. Limited design, programming, testing and documentation of systems to specifications and standards as required.

7. Provide testing support for new applications and modifications as required.

8. Support for the integration of the Realex Payments service with third party products.

9. Provide training to customers.

10. Other technical and operational duties as assigned.

The candidate should have experience in the following areas (a candidate with a working knowledge in each area is more suitable than one who is an expert in one area alone):

• Programming languages - Perl, ASP/VB, PHP and Java.
• Web Servers - IIS, Apache, others.
• Operating Systems - Windows NT/2000, Linux etc.

A general knowledge and appreciation of internet technologies and security issues would be advantageous and experience in the banking, payments or financial services industries would be a distinct advantage.
